Areti Occupational Therapy ("Areti", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. Who we are

Areti Occupational Therapy is a mobile occupational therapy practice based in Helensvale, Queensland, owned and operated by Kate Giltrap. Kate is an AHPRA-registered occupational therapist and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

• Other parties you have authorised us to contact

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• Provide occupational therapy services
• Communicate with you about appointments, recommendations and follow-up
• Prepare clinical notes, reports and funding documentation
• Liaise with your other healthcare providers and support team, with your consent
• Manage payments, invoices and funding claims
• Comply with our professional, legal and regulatory obligations
• Improve our services

Disclosure of information

We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except where:

• Required or permitted by law
• Necessary to provide your care — for example, liaising with your GP, support coordinator or equipment supplier
• Reasonable to prevent or lessen a serious threat to life, health or safety
• Required by a funding body in connection with services we have provided

Storage and security

We store your information securely using practices and systems designed to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Records are kept for the period required by law — typically a minimum of seven years from your last contact, or until age 25 for clients seen as minors. When records are no longer required, they are securely destroyed or de-identified.

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. No personal data is collected via the contact form unless you choose to submit it. Form submissions are protected by automated spam-prevention measures and are only used to respond to your enquiry.
